Rob Schiller Ray Romano

Rob Schiller
was a director on The King of Queens. He directed 17 episodes of Season 1, part of a total of 166 episodes during the show's run. Since 1984, Schiller has amassed a number of directorial credits namely A Different World, Living Single, Ellen, Malcolm & Eddie, Two and a Half Men, Til Death, $h*! My Dad Says and many other television series.[1]

CareerEdit

Rob began his career as a child actor. At the age of 11, he wrote, produced, directed and starred in his first play about Harry Houdini. He started making films on his dad's Super 8 at age thirteen. At 19, he purchased a children's theatre company called The Peter Piper Players, turned it equity and produced, directed and starred in productions at local venues for two years while performing professionally in and around the Buffalo area. Rob attended Ithaca College for Communications and Buffalo State College for theatre arts.

In 1990 and 1991, Rob won a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series Directing Team for directing soap opera Santa Barbara.[2]

In 2010, Schiller directed the stage play Greater Tuna at Boulder's Dinner Theatre in Boulder, Colorado.[3]
